Community organizations can use the resources on our website to host conversations with members of their communities that explore topics which affect everyone, such as women\u2019s rights, the environment, and education. The idea is simple\u2013great conversations start with good listening. Our programs focus on listening to individuals\u2019 voices and then sharing our ideas and experiences with one another. We offer two types of programs: community dialogues and adult home conversations.<\/p>\n<h2>How it was Made:<\/h2>\n<p>\nThis website is a project of CGP Community Stories and the Cooperstown Graduate Program (SUNY Oneonta). CGP Community Stories collects, preserves, and disseminates the diverse oral histories of the residents of Central New York State.
